Bats

Wow! What a great SierraClub outing.
Just one group from a colony of about 5,000 bats heading out for the evening bug meal.

Very cool

China’s new policy threatening recycling in U.S.

At least half the cans, bottles, plastics and paper collected for recycling used to end up in one place — China. Now China has decided to stop accepting most of the recycled materials that it once purchased. And that decision is having huge ripple effects on recycling programs in Richmond, as well as other communities in this country and overseas.

Bokashi – Chemical Analysis and Biology

Source: Bokashi – Chemical Analysis and Biology

Pretty good bokashi blog. So many that I look at have so many significant scientific flaws that I am wary of how valid any of their points are.

But this one is pretty good. And I like the caveats that he uses very carefully at times to simplify complex microbial ideas.

Best to all.
