Rainwater catchment

There are wonderful companies trying to help us do better with water use by providing rainwater catchment systems and I think that they are all great and I do not want to step on their toes, but to me a non-chlorinated swimming pool is the best rainwater catchment system of all time.  I know very few people that sit out and watch the dragonflies and damselflies dance over their 50 gallon rain barrels.

I know of very few people who get out their lawn chairs and grab a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to the birds singing and bees buzzing around their 5,000 gallon rainwater catchment system.  But a foot of pool water is 5000 gallons or roughly 100 x 50 gallon rain barrels and the non-toxic water source also provides a fantastic habitat and personal enjoyment system.
