And if anyone is interested (which I’m sure they’re not) :-) complex one cannot just dump the electrons into the Matrix _you cannot have free electrons_ which is why we don’t get shocked by our electronic gizmos. And so complex one _must_ past those electrons to coenzyme Q <\/p>\n

I studied bacteria, but the systems are exquisitely similar to those of our mitochondria. <\/p>\n

This is also why some of us take antioxidants. The last step where the electrons are put on to oxygen to create water — if it makes a mistake it creates a reactive oxygen species not water which can damage our DNA <\/p>\n
