Very interesting and in my opinion thoughtful article. And an issue not brought up is how we tend to do randomized studies and get data on percent effectiveness of a certain drug but then tend to believe that if the drug is 48% effective that we all get a 48% benefit from it, as though we were all exactly the same height. We never really expect to see someone have none of the beneficial effects but some or all of the side effects.<\/p>\n
